A variety of teaching opportunities exist in Bayfield

Multiple career opportunities are still available to teachers who want to find their next adventure in education in beautiful southwest Colorado, and Bayfield, Colorado is offering a variety of lucrative teaching jobs in a school district that has increased its base salary by more than 30 percent in the past two years.

A trio of positions are open at Bayfield Intermediate School, which serves students in 3rd through 5th grade. The school is presently looking for a STEM instructor, an ESS (Exceptional Student Services) teacher, and a music teacher. The district is also looking for a math teacher at Bayfield Middle School and hopes to fill slots for a science and social studies teacher at Bayfield High School.

Bayfield is the jewel of the Pine River Valley, which is nestled in the mountains of far southwestern Colorado.
